Dr. LaTonya Gaines-Montgomery (Dr. G-M) is an accomplished educator, leadership consultant, and transformational coach with more than 20 years of experience in public education and leadership development. She is the Founder and CEO of LGM Coaching & Consulting Services, LLC, where she partners with schools, districts, organizations, and leaders to strengthen instructional systems, build leadership capacity, and accelerate sustainable growth.

Throughout her career, Dr. G-M has served in a variety of impactful roles including classroom teacher, professional development coach, instructional and transformational coach, school administrator, and central office leader. She has also served as a North Carolina New Teacher Support Coach and as an International Curriculum and Instruction Specialist with Discovery Education, supporting educators and school systems in implementing high-quality instructional practices.

In addition to her work in K–12 education, Dr. G-M has served as a Clinical and Adjunct Professor, helping prepare future educators and leaders for the field. Her expertise also includes curriculum development, leadership coaching, and organizational consulting. She has provided consulting support for the Bright Beginnings (B-K) Program of Mecklenburg County and Save the Children Head Start, and offers leadership coaching and strategic consulting for schools, nonprofit organizations, ministries, and businesses.

 Dr. G-M  holds a Doctorate in Curriculum, Instruction, and Supervision and a Master of Arts in School Administration from Gardner-Webb University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
